Flower bouquet throwing penguin protester with his lower face masked by a blue bandana. Stylistically adapted from Banksy's Flowerthrower. Made for the turkish satirical journal "Penguen" by Selcuk Erdim at the time of the Taksim Gezi Park protests in 2013. Protetesters were called "capulcu" (turk.: marauders). The protesting party adapted the wording for their protest. Internationally they got huge support by people stating they were "capulcus" as well or expressing slogans like "Everyday I am capuling" publically.
