Hier gibt einen Rechner für die Reichweite unter Idealbedingungen. Wenn man z.B. 433 MHz eintippt und im Feld für die Reichweite 5 km eingibt, kommt man darauf, das das Signal eine Leistung von 99.131dB haben muss - d.h. die Differenz aus Sensitivity des Empfängers und Sendeleistung des Senders sollte deutlich darüber liegen.
